What Is An Affiliate?
An affiliate is someone
who operates a website who is willing to assist MeccaCentric
in increasing our presence on the web. An affiliate would do
this by placing a banner ad on their website in exchange for
a 10% commission of an online order by a visitor who clicks on
that banner to reach our site.
Are There Any Fees
to Set-Up An Account?
No, the affiliate program
is totally free and it can be set-up in only five minutes with
three easy steps. You can check your earnings at any time by
logging in to your account at the MeccaCentric homepage. There
is no obligation and the affiliate account can be cancelled at
any time.
What Are the Terms
of the Affiliate Program?
An affiliate will earn
10% of the purchase of visitors that click on the MeccaCentric
banner and follow through to complete their order on the same
visit. The 10% will be calculated on the subtotal of the
order, not tax and shipping. Once your account reaches $50.00,
MeccaCentric will issue you a check automatically. Postage for
the check is free for all U.S. addresses. For international addresses,
postage will be deducted from the balance owed to you. The 10%
commission will only be calculated on orders made online, not
orders by phone or mail. You will not be eligible to receive
any payments unless you place a MeccaCentric banner on your website
and link it properly.
How Exactly Does
This Work?
After creating an affiliate
account, you will log-in to your personal page where you will
find over 40 MeccaCentric banners to choose from. You will also
find there a customized web-link that is formatted according
to the User I.D. you created. You will place a MeccaCentric banner
on your own website and then use your custom web-link to link
the banner back to the MeccaCentric website. Since your web-link
is unique, all sales from a visitor's session (who clicks on
the banner to reach our site) will be tracked and 10% of it will
be credited to your affiliate account. Once your account reaches
$50.00 a check will be mailed to the address you provide.
Why Should I Become
A MeccaCentric Affiliate?
By becoming an affiliate
you will help more people to discover our website and, in turn,
you will help more people to learn about Islam. After all, our
objective here at MeccaCentric is to educate Muslims and non-Muslims
through quality lectures by prominent Muslim speakers. By referring
people to us, you will assist us in this effort because an increase
in web traffic will, insha' Allah (God-willing), result in an
increase in the distribution of our products. And on top of that,
you will earn some extra money as well!
Who Can Be A MeccaCentric
Affiliate?
Anyone who has a website
can be an affiliate. It can be a website for an Islamic portal,
a charitable organization, a Muslim Students website, a website
for a local Islamic center or school, a matrimonial website,
or simply your own personal website. The content of your website
does not have to be related to Islamic media either. And you
do not have to be a Muslim to be an affiliate. If you have a
website then you are qualified to be a MeccaCentric affiliate.
Must I Reside in
North America to Be An Affiliate?
No, it does not matter
where you live or where your website is hosted. However, for
all payment checks we send to addresses outside the United States,
we will deduct the postage cost from the amount owed to you.
Do I Have to Be
Web-Savvy to Be An Affiliate?
No, the process of placing
our banners on your website and linking them is very simple.
But if you do need assistance doing this, we will be available
to help you via phone or email. It is assumed, however, that
since you have a website on which to place a banner, that you
have the ability to add that banner and link it properly.
