 In this brief
presentation given in the beautiful surroundings just outside
of Yosemite National Park in California, Dr. Sulayman Nyang addresses
the following points concerning Prophet Muhammad's life: who
Muhammad was, the culture of the Arabs, the environment to which
he was born, the message that he preached, the effect that he
had on Arabian  society, the institutions he challenged,
the conversion of Umar, the migration to Yathrib (Madinah), and
the Prophet's ascension to Heaven and the commandment of prayer.
This brief survey is an excellent starting point for those interested
in getting to know the most influential man in human history.
