| This is the last
session of the "Muslims In America: Survival To Success"
conference which opens up the floor for feedback from the participants.
But first, brother Yahya Hendi starts by making his own recommendations
against the background of past accomplishments by CAIR (the Council
on American-Islamic Relations), which is the organization he
is representing. His address is complimented by a 15-minute audio-visual
presentation which illustrates these accomplishments to show
how determination and hard work can make a difference in the
lives of Muslims. Following his presentation is an evaluation
of what the leaders need to do in order to improve the condition
of Muslims in America. This evaluation is made in the form of
a dialogue between the conference participants and the panel
of speakers present. What results is a productive session that
gets to the very heart of the matters that concern the common
Muslim. |
