| This session of
the MYNA conference makes a brief sketch of Islam's second pillar
and its related aspects. In introducing the subject, brother
Mohamed Magid speaks about the significance of the adhan, wudu,
the kiblah, and the kaaba in Mecca. Among other things, he then
addresses the unifying force of the prayer, the significance
of what is said, and how the prayer should make one feel. This
talk is not meant to teach one how to pray but rather to emphasize
its meaning, purpose, and place in the daily life of a Muslim. |
